Google knows it. Viacom knows it. The Chamber of Commerce knows it. Internet democracy groups know it. BoingBoing knows it. But, the Internet hasn’t been told yet — we’re going to get blown away by the end of the year. The worst bill in Internet history is about to become law.
STOP SOPA, SAVE THE INTERNET - Boing Boing, Fred Wilson (via nevver)

This is the most terrifying thing I have heard about the future of the Internet - by Christmas this year, you will be fined $5,000 for posting or even reposting any web content that “infringes copyright.”

Also, the government will be protected even if it “mistakenly” takes down one of these blacklisted sites.

And yes, if you pay taxes, you are paying for this.

Spread the word. We have to do something. You will not hear about this on the news.

What a beautiful and original bridge.

Invisible pederestian bridge by Ro Koster and Ad Kill Architects.

SO COOL!

I imagine this would suck during flooding, though.

Optical Illusion of the Day: If you stare at the plus sign long enough, the image around it will disappear. Go on. Stare at the plus sign. Nothing will jump out at you. It’s just a really cool optical illusion. It’s 100% safe.
I promise.
